Biography

Dr. Griffith is currently a Research Associate Professor (Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology) working at The Genome Institute under the mentorship of Elaine Mardis and Rick Wilson. His research interests are best described as cancer informatics and clinical statistics. Specifically, he uses computational methods for the analysis of large cancer datasets at the molecular and genomic level. He is engaged in a number of large-scale tumor sequencing projects on liver and breast cancer, investigating primary, relapse and drug resistant tumors. Dr. Griffith is also an instructor for the Canadian Bioinformatics Workshops series.
